When I decided to look for employment outside the home, I got immediately frustrated. Armed with an MBA degree and years of relevant experience in marketing and public relations, I thought I would have no problem finding the job of my dreams. One problem: My dream was for a part-time job, not a full-time one.

I soon realized that there were many others facing the same dilemma with no resources to accommodate us:

In addition to linking job seekers and employers, my goal is to act as an advocate for employment that provides greater work/life balance. Employers must start to realize that flexible, part-time employment 'with purpose'—positions that utilize an employee's skills and expertise while providing a work/life balance—will be the employment track of the future.
