A Brave New World Awaits the Older Job Seeker
Leon Singletary, president of the Greater Valley Forge Human Resource Association and principal of First Contact HR, a Fort Washington company that performs background checks on potential employees discusses employment strategies for older job seekers.
"It requires a whole new way of going about the job search. We're finding it's particularly challenging for baby boomers and people who have worked for the same company for a long time," Singletary said. "Times change and what's required now is a different skill set to look for jobs."
